"The One Where Reese Decided It Was Time..."

...to take off the training wheels and RIDE! She hasn't wanted to take them off b/c she didn't think she could keep up with the big kids. But, she came back from a ride around the neighborhood and told Daddy she wanted them off.



Here she comes...














Daddy let go and off she went
...there she goes!!

Fast Forward about 20 minutes and here she is on the street starting and stopping at will, turning where ever she wants, and going as fast as she can- no problem! She made about 3 trips around the neighborhood before the night was over! Has to be the most painless bike lesson ever and we aren't too worried about her keeping up with the big kids!

"The One Where Daddy, I Mean, The Girls Get A New Motorcycle"

ROLLIN' w/ the P-DUB

Isn't she a beauty... Chris found this little diamond in the rough and picked it up for the girls! It's an old Yamaha PW 50, in Honda red! It needs a little work (can you tell), but he already got it running- starting on the first kick. Needs a new seat and we'll be in business.
To the neighbor's delight, he got it running about 10:30 last night... it's a loud little thing and likes to smoke, but it's gonna be fun for the girls! They are pumped but can't ride yet b/c their helmets are in Scott Co... oh well, next weekend!

"The One Where Reese Kicks Grass"

GOOOAAALLL!!!!!








The Running Cheetahs had there first game on Saturday, Reese scored 2 goals. She got the first goal of the game and played AWESOME!






The whole team ROCKS! Reese was the only one on the team who had played soccer before but they all did great.






















Drew was cheerleader for the day, happy for lil' sis to do so well. Drew when are those teeth coming out?

"The One Where Reese Goes to Kindergarten"

Reesie goes to school!
This was her first day of Kindergarten... big sis walked in with us and she found her room, her teacher, and her cubby.
She had a great day... there were only 4 kids there and she was the only girl. She is really excited about starting regular schedule and can't wait until her next day. Highlight of the day was getting to wear her new "Reese's" shirt she is sooo proud of it and evidently it was a big hit... everyone loved it!!

How can she be old enough to start school?

Look @ that girl go!!!! She's going to work on getting out of the squat position next time!! she had a blast and we were so proud of her...

Daddy got the ski he likes... we are proud of him too!!

We had a great time at the pool, panning for gold, & "goony" golf! Highly recommend Damon's and Applewood Grill (@ Apple Barn), super food and great service... apple fritters are to die for at Apple Barn!!
